Karim Georges...

...was born in Arlington, MA. He plays the derbekki, a.k.a. darbuka, doumbek, or tabla. It is a Middle Eastern goblet shaped drum and is played with the hands. Over the past few years, he has also become proficient with a whole new range of percussion instruments.

He also produces. However, he is not a simply producer in the traditional sense. He expands the role to also tender many features that he has to offer, such as lyric & song writing, beat making, engineering, marketing & promotion, and management... The idea is to offer musicians whatever it is that will help bring out the best in them and their sound.

After graduating Berklee College of Music with a degree in both Music Business/Management and Music Production & Engineering, he will be working on releasing his first major project, which will bridge his abilities as both a percussionist and producer. His ultimate goal is to start his own production company in Boston, Atic Music. This will allow him to contribute to new creative music and help other musicians achieve their goals.
